Our ReStore is looking for volunteers year round. We need volunteers during our store hours between 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday and 10 AM to 4 PM Saturday. Hours and shifts are flexible. We are happy to accommodate your availability and physical abilities.

Sales and Cashier

• Greet customers in a friendly and helpful manner.

• Respond to customer questions (or direct to store manager and staff)

• Assist customers in locating items

• Operate cash register

• Share our mission with customers

ReStore

• Prepare, stock, and display donated items.

• Pricing- change and update

• Help create merchandise displays

• Answer phones calls

• Keep Habitat ReStore clean and welcoming

• Assist in loading purchases

• Assist with building projects at ReStore, e.g. - build display shelves, bedframes, etc

Pickup

• Able to lift heavy furniture

• Assist with donation pickups

• Familiar with quality control standards at pickup location

• Load, secure, transport, and unload donations

• Maintain loading area

• Maintain vehicles (preventive)

Office Help

• Data entry

• Thank you letters

• Receipts out

• Request letters

• Light research. Typically pricing research.
