  • Various vintage furniture pieces including sofas, armchairs, a large wooden armoire, and coffee tables in a warehouse setting

  • “This will be our first time as homeowners and we are excited and looking forward to it. We are thrilled to have this opportunity; everything has always felt like a struggle – I never dreamed this could be a possibility. My boys and I can’t wait to begin building our home. We will take so much pride in our home, knowing that we built it ourselves.”

    Amy, Habitat Partner, 2010

  • Three women and a boy standing outside a red house with a green trimmed window frame and a front door, the boy holding a large gold key, on a concrete porch with steps, a woman on the right is smiling, one woman on the left is smiling, and the boy has a neutral expression.

  • I am so excited at the prospect of owning my own home that at times I feel that all this isn't real or that it is too good to be true. I feel so very blessed to be in this position and am thankful to God for his great provision. I am in complete gratitude to all who have contributed to allowing this chapter of Habitat to do what it is doing - providing truly affordable housing in La Plata County to those in need.

  • I cannot believe how far I have come and what having this home has done for me. I am forever grateful for this home where I can raise my son.
